Rippling is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer – Data Products to lead the design and development of sophisticated user interfaces for its data products. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on frontend engineering experience with deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on frontend engineering experience with deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React
  • Strong computer science fundamentals with a proven track record of designing and optimizing complex web applications that operate at scale
  • Passion for user experience and product design
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) is a plus
  • Familiarity with Python/Django or similar backend systems is a plus
  • Experience building analytics or reporting dashboards is a plus
  • Contributions to open-source frontend projects are a plus
