Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, Business Development, the Manager, Marketing & Communications provides strategic leadership and functional oversight for Rising Edge Group’s marketing, branding, communications, and digital engagement activities.

What You Will Do

The Manager establishes the organization’s marketing direction, priorities, standards, budgets, and performance expectations and ensures that approved initiatives are effectively executed by internal team members and external service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Professional designation in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or Public Relations is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, branding, or business development support.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Experience within the utility, energy, construction, engineering, or industrial sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Proven success leading integrated marketing and communications programs.
  • Experience supporting business development, proposals, and client pursuits.
  • Experience managing websites, CRM platforms, digital marketing, and social media programs.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Advanced technical writing and proposal development capabilities.
  • Expertise in brand management, communications, and digital marketing.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms, and marketing technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
