DataDivers – Data Scientist

DataDivers is hiring a Data Scientist to join their growing team. The successful candidate will design and implement machine learning models, develop artificial intelligence solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions for customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ professional experience in Data Science, AI engineering, or a similar role
• 5+ years’ proficiency in coding with Python, R or similar
• 5+ years’ experience with one of AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synpase, Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle, Postgresql, Mysql, etc.
• 5+ years’ coding in SQL and working with relational databases
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions in a production environment
• 5+ years’ experience implementing and designing solutions for customers utilising modern cloud and analytics platforms in one of Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, and/or Snowflake
• 5+ years’ business or consulting experience
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques
• Strong understanding of data modelling and database design principles
• Experience with data visualisation tools such Power BI
• Experience of data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• High attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent people management skills and business acumen
• Minimum of a tertiary degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, science, engineering, or technology (advanced degree preferred)
