Business Intelligence / Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Business Intelligence / Data Analyst, you will be responsible for end-to-end Power BI solution development, including data modelling, report design, performance optimization, and governance. You will work in a hybrid schedule with office in Katowice or Gdańsk, reporting directly to LCS Business Intelligence Team Leader.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include gathering and translating business requirements into scalable and impactful BI solutions, designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models, and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and validation across all reports and datasets.

We are looking for a data-first mindset and strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in building scalable BI solutions, using Power BI, Power Query, and enterprise data platforms. Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is also a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in Power BI enterprise environments
• Expertise in PBI desktop, PBI Service, PBI Report Server and Power Query
• Experience using DAX (write, tune and optimize) queries, calculated measures and tables.
• Experience building star and snowflake schema architectures, tabular models, and semantic data layers
• Advanced SQL querying, stored procedures, and performance optimization on relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Databricks)
• Experience connecting to diverse data sources, ETL and designing automated incremental data refreshes
• Row-Level Security (RLS) implementation, workspace management, app publishing, deployment pipelines and licensing structures.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
• Experience supporting services, manufacturing, industrial automation, engineering, or technology organizations.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, service management, and financial systems.
• Experience with AI, advanced analytics, or automation platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and product-based delivery models.
