Director, Pet Parent Journey & GTM

Hybrid Full TimeSeattle, Washington, United StatesRover

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Director of Pet Parent Journey & GTM to join our Pet Parent Organization. In this role, you will build and drive consistent go-to-market strategies and initiatives for all pet parent–facing investments, own pet parent communications strategy, alignment, and execution, and own the message architecture and journey documentation that every pet parent touch point ladders up to.

What You Will Do

You will own the strategy across the areas of pet parent GTM, pet parent communications, message architecture and journey documentation, consideration and the active shopper, and pet parent voice and feedback.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This is a high-impact role that requires a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will be equally comfortable aligning executive stakeholders on long-term journey strategy as you are digging into the day-to-day decisions that determine whether a pet parent books, returns, and stays.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following fields: product marketing, B2C go-to-market, lifecycle or CRM leadership, product management, marketing, general management, or consulting roles in marketplace, platform, or two-sided business contexts.
  • Experience partnering with Product, UX, Data Science, and Engineering teams to create and execute on shared roadmaps and metrics.
  • Clear and structured written and verbal communication style, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders and diverse teams to drive critical decisions.
  • Highly proactive, comfortable operating with minimal guidance in uncertain and ambiguous business environments.
  • Analytical rigor, with enthusiasm for modeling and measuring the impact of the initiatives you drive, including incrementality and holdout-based measurement.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience giving actionable feedback and coaching, and welcoming the same.
  • Comfortable working across US (Pacific Time) and Europe (Central European Time) timezones.
  • Bachelor’s degree. Marketing or business degrees preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • 401k match
  • Long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout
  • Flexible PTO
  • Competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Commuter benefits
  • Bring your dog to work (and unlimited puppy time)
  • Pet benefits, including $1000 toward adopting your first dog or cat
  • Stocked fridges, coffee, soda, and lots of treats (for humans and dogs) and free catered lunches monthly
