Role Overview

The Assistant Data Scientist will develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models for hazard assessment, infrastructure vulnerability analysis, and community resilience metrics. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and two years of related experience. The position is located on the main campus in College Station, TX.

What You Will Do

Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models for hazard assessment, infrastructure vulnerability analysis, and community resilience metrics. Build and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and integrating multi-source datasets. Design feature engineering workflows and model evaluation frameworks to ensure robust, reproducible results.
