GTM Customer Engineer

Role Overview

The role involves working closely with customer engineering, product, and operations teams to field new capabilities powered by Fury, a robotic foundation model for defense. The GTM Customer Engineer Manager will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, guiding them through the implementation of Fury while maintaining high standards for safety and reliability.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities include serving as a specialist technical advisor to Scout AI customers, partnering with account executives and solutions architects, influencing technical architecture decisions, leading hands-on technical workshops, and recruiting and mentoring a growing team of customer engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical roles such as Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Software Engineer, or Technical Product Manager
• Production experience with LLMs, VLMs, and/or VLAs
• Strong programming skills with proficiency in JSON, Python or TypeScript
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and execute across domains
• High-cooperation mindset for cross-organizational collaboration
• Passion for advancing safe, beneficial AI systems through creative technical applications
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
• Passion about defense of the United States and its allies
