Business Development Director

Role Overview

Join Sedgwick as a Business Development Director to expand and enhance the company’s top line through relationship building and maintenance with prospective clients. The role involves identifying and addressing prospective and existing client opportunities for marketing the company’s programs, and ensuring sales goals and profit margins are met.

What You Will Do

Identify, develop, and maintain internal and external relationships/partnerships, build relationships with prospects, facilitate the development of new partnerships, and develop detailed knowledge of individual prospect operations. You will also manage the design of service programs, develop and implement an annual sales and service plan, and meet sales goals of $2-3 million.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ten (10) years of related experience
  • Licenses as required
  • Possession of, or progress towards, CPCU and/or ARM designation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
