Role Overview
You will own day-to-day People Operations in a remote company culture, helping build the workplace where we can do the best work of our lives. As a small team of 20 people, you will handle everything from hiring, learning & development to compliance to building people systems like improving hiring/unhiring processes, recognition systems, goal-setting, learning & development systems and how we connect and engage as a remote team.
What You Will Do
Culture Systems: Improving hiring / unhiring processes, recognition systems, goal-setting, values & behaviour communication, personal development plans, learning & development systems and how we connect and engage as a remote team, as well as planning and executing our occasional in-person team events.

You will be successful in the first 3 months if: You have built a relationship with every single team member, You have advised the company successfully on compliance matters, Time-off, onboarding and offboarding run as documented processes that someone else could follow without you in the room, You have taken at least one open role from brief to offer using a scorecard-based process you designed or improved, The L&D curriculum is planned for the next six months, and the first two sessions have run, You have presented a 12-month people & culture roadmap to the leadership team with three named priorities and what you need to deliver them.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of HR experience in medium-sized companies (20-100 people), ideally within a remote environment.
- You love working with people, understanding their unique perspectives and adapting to people from varying cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good understanding of general HR policies and labour laws in Greece and/or the UK.
- Have worked with business stakeholders and understand how HR initiatives affect the business, and vice versa.
- Highly organised self-starter who is an early AI adopter.
- Experience with HR software (HRIS) and Google Workspace.
- Comfortable working as part of a distributed team, with mutual flexibility around working hours.
- Strong logistical and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and budget management.
- Strong communication skills and absolute trustworthiness with the ability to handle sensitive, confidential data.
- You are a self-improver and like to take pride in your work.
