As a Sales Account Executive at SmartCommerce, you will find business opportunities and manage customer relationships, identifying opportunities with prospects and new clients and building them into long-term profitable relationships. The role is a remote position with some travel expected for in-person meetings and/or conferences.
Requirements
- History and evidence of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Comfortable helping to lead complex contract negotiations.
- Ability to lead analysis-driven negotiation processes and have proven closing skills (internal or external).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience as a Sales Professional.
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
- Superior organizational and time-management skills.
- Highly developed business acumen.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about sales.
- College degree required, BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing preferred.
- Experience working with brand manufacturers (both large and emerging brands).
- Experience selling software solutions and/or marketing solutions.
