Role Overview

The Events Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing meetings, conferences, social events, banquets, and other group functions from the planning stage through successful completion.

What You Will Do

Coordinate events, communicate with clients, prepare event documentation, and ensure event details are communicated accurately to hotel departments.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel event planning, catering, banquet, conference services, or hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • Experience preparing and managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) strongly preferred
  • Marriott or branded hotel experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of banquet and meeting-room setups, event timelines, and Food & Beverage operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple events, clients, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Professional and confident when communicating with clients and hotel leadership
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and proactively resolve concerns
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel sales, catering, and event-management systems

Benefits

  • Salary: $50,000 annually
