Role Overview

The Director of Business Development is responsible for establishing and coordinating all business development and marketing functions to assure facility growth, product/service development, member awareness, communication between facilities and referral sources, quality control, profitability, and operating-cost reduction.

What You Will Do

Develops and implements business development programs, identifies and prioritizes issues, communicates instructions and expectations, leads a team, maintains productivity levels, manages staff scheduling, and maintains accountability expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the local market and referral base, ability to create and develop referral sources, knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatments, and well-developed relational skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Four or more years’ experience in healthcare business development and marketing role required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
