Business Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Business Data Analyst, you will make a direct impact on the future of our electricity grid by collecting and analyzing data to provide insights for well-considered decision-making and planning. You will work with colleagues to prepare reports, identify improvements for products and systems, and optimize processes.

What You Will Do

You will identify the data analysis needs of Market Services – Acknowledgements and translate them into dashboards that support decision-making. You will develop and implement Market Services standards for analytics, reports, data visualizations, and KPIs, ensuring reliable and consistent steering information within Market Services.

You will contribute to the fact that we can continue to supply the Netherlands with reliable energy. You will work closely with the Digital & Technology Transformation (DTT) department and other data organizations within TenneT to ensure data quality, uniform definitions, and optimal data disclosure via the TenneT Data Platform (TDP) and the TenneT Data Cloud (TDC).

Requirements

• Completed WO degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, IT, Business Process Management, or a comparable field
• Proven experience as a Power BI developer or BI analyst and mastery of DAX, data modeling, and preparing reports and dashboards
• Skills in Python, SQL, Databricks, Excel, and other analytical tools
• Strong communication and social skills, combined with a proactive, collaborative attitude and the ability to operate successfully both independently and in a team
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, including preparing analyses, reports, and policy documents
