Role Overview
The Marketing Automation Manager will own the operational functions that allow the organization’s automation and analytics specialists to work at maximum efficiency and consume clearly defined, standardized inputs to target communications across campaigns and measure Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”). This position can be based anywhere in the U.S. and will be expected to work east coast hours (standard business hours are 9:00am – 5:00pmET).
What You Will Do
The Marketing Automation Manager will handle the day-to-day program mechanics of executing email marketing plans, manage and maintain Email Marketing Calendar, manage and grow organizational email list, and use SQL query to build and maintain email audiences within Automation Studio.

Requirements
- Knowledge in marketing automation, marketing operations or related capacity
- Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and deep understand of data relationships within CRM and SFMC
- The ability to analyze performance data and translate data into actionable strategies for email marketing
- Familiarity with project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools
- Experience managing projects that have involved the introduction of new ways of working, processes, and methodologies
- Experience with digital marketing analytics, email marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred), and project management platforms
- Commitment to data hygiene, project management and customer service
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional peers, business owners, strategists, and agency partners to achieve business results
