As a District Sales Manager, you will lead a team of 5-10 sales representatives in the Redistribution/R3 segment, providing sales and business development training, customer support, and coaching to exceed sales targets and reach individual career growth goals. You will oversee sales strategies, establish sales objectives, and monitor sales results. The role covers the Midwest geography, including Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, Arkansas & Nebraska.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Strong field based outside sales, territory account management & business development experience required
- Previous people leadership experience or demonstrated peer leadership skills
- Grocery, foodservice, and distribution experience is preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficient user level Microsoft office skills and ability to learn new software applications
- CRM experience with Microsoft Dynamics knowledge preferred
