Role Overview
The Director, Portfolio Growth Initiatives is responsible for leading the commercialization of priority Business Banking growth initiatives. This role serves as the bridge between strategy and ongoing business ownership, translating approved opportunities into scalable operating models, go-to-market plans, and measurable business outcomes.
What You Will Do
Lead commercialization of assigned growth opportunities from approval through launch, adoption, scaling, and transition to long-term ownership. Develop commercialization plans, operating models, and execution approaches that support successful market adoption and business outcomes.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Eight or more years of experience leading strategic initiatives in commercialization, business transformation, product management, business development, consulting, program leadership, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and delivering business outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive execution in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in financial services, including business banking, payments, deposits, lending, treasury management, or merchant services.
- Experience developing executive presentations, business cases, recommendations, and decision support materials for senior leaders.
- Experience taking new products, capabilities, or growth initiatives from concept and approval through launch, adoption, and operationalization.
- Expertise on the critical interdependencies among product model system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results using business metrics, key performance indicators, design systems, service blueprints, and reusability.
- Ability to anticipate shifting market priorities, internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
- Strong customer centricity to implement strategies and techniques used to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization’s products and services at every touch point.
- Knowledge of technical aspects of software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working, knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization’s exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
