Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in sales within education loans or related retail lending and financial services
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or in a comparable sales leadership role
- Strong understanding of education loan products, lending processes, customer acquisition, and loan disbursement cycles
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth across a defined territory
- Experience leading, coaching, and motivating sales teams
- Established relationships with educational institutions, student counsellors, referral partners, or other relevant distribution networks
- Strong understanding of loan documentation, credit coordination, and lending compliance requirements
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong analytical abilities, with experience tracking sales metrics, forecasting performance, and managing pipelines
- A proactive, target-oriented mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage competing business priorities
