Role Description The Financial Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Burnsville, MN. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting management in making informed business decisions. Day-to-day tasks include developing financial plans and budgets, reviewing financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying trends that impact profitability and cash flow. The Financial Analyst will assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting, support forecasting and variance analysis, and contribute to process improvements for financial controls and efficiency. The role also involves collaborating with operations and leadership to evaluate project costs, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities, ensuring financial insight is integrated into strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in working with Financial Statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Candidates should possess experience in Financial Reporting, including preparing management reports and dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Burnsville, MN.
