Role Overview
The Program Officer will drive the implementation and scaling of acceleration projects that translate technology matches into concrete deployment outcomes, investment opportunities, and measurable socio-economic impact. The role focuses on strategic partnerships and financing, in line with WIPO’s mandate to leverage intellectual property and innovation ecosystems to address climate change and food security challenges.
What You Will Do
The incumbent will perform duties such as project development and partnership management, portfolio performance and impact management, WIPO GREEN ecosystem integration and scaling support, knowledge management and communications, and other related duties.

Requirements
- First-level university degree in environmental or biological sciences, climate change, natural resource management, agricultural or food systems, development studies, international relations, or a related field.
- At least six years of relevant professional experience in fields related to global environmental issues such as climate change, food security, green technologies, technology deployment, or innovation ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience managing international or multi-stakeholder projects, including partnerships, funding, and project implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Good knowledge of climate change, food security, environmental sustainability, green technology, and innovation.
- Strong analytical skills, including results-based management and impact assessment.
- Proven drafting skills, with the ability to produce high-quality and professional social media content.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to pay attention to detail, work quickly and accurately under pressure, and to respect deadlines.
