Data Engineer (Business Analyst – Jira, Confluence, Power BI, SQL)

MRI-Simmons is seeking Senior Business Analyst with analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategic recommendations by leveraging data insights to drive organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business operations, identifying pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across different departments.
  • Elicit, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, identifying trends and patterns to inform decision-making.
  • Develop comprehensive solutions, including process improvements, system enhancements, or new applications, considering cost-benefit analysis and feasibility.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, effective communication of analysis findings, recommendations, and project updates.
  • Lead and oversee business analysis activities on complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope.
  • Facilitate the transition to new processes or systems, providing training and support to end-users.
  • Strong analytical skills, Business acumen, Technical proficiency, Communication skills, Project management skills, Problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources
  • Jira, Confluence, Power BI, SQL, Agile/Kanban
