Role Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. This position will serve as a trusted financial partner to operational and business leaders, providing meaningful financial insights to support strategic planning, operational performance, and informed decision making.
What You Will Do
The Senior Financial Analyst will focus on supporting the annual operating budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes in partnership with business and operational leaders. They will also prepare monthly financial reporting packages, build and maintain financial models, and partner with Accounting on month-end close and reconciliation of financial results.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or economics from an accredited program
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis, or a related finance role
- Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably within a health plan, managed care organization, or medical group
- Experience with cost allocations, cost accounting, expense distribution methodologies, or departmental cost analysis
- Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Experience analyzing financial performance, investigating variances, and communicating results to business leaders
- Proven experience using databases, Word and Access, PowerPoint required. Expert in Microsoft Excel, rudimentary understanding of databases and different data architecture
