Role Overview
The Financial Analyst will support the Central Accounting and Tax Compliance team in Amazon’s Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) team. The role involves performing month-end activities, preparing flux analysis, ensuring financial policies and procedures are in place, and interacting with auditors.
What You Will Do
The Financial Analyst will perform month-end activities, prepare flux analysis, ensure financial policies and procedures are in place, and interact with auditors. The role also involves performing and supporting new business/system launches, including UAT of accounting entries and financial reporting.

The Financial Analyst will work closely with the auditors, ensure GRC compliance, and align improvements/changes with stakeholders. The role requires experience in corporate finance, including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting, as well as experience in applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
Requirements
- 1+ years of finance experience
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
