Supports project controls functions by managing project budgets, financial tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis. The role partners with project and finance stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting and insights, leveraging SQL, Power BI, Jira, and Confluence to ensure strong financial governance and project transparency.

Requirements

  • Own and maintain project budgets, including forecasting, tracking actuals vs plan, variance analysis, and regular financial reporting across multiple projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and update budget trackers and financial dashboards using tools such as Excel and Power BI to provide clear visibility to project managers and leadership.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation in Confluence, ensuring accurate, up-to-date artifacts such as project plans, financial assumptions, decisions, and retrospectives.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze financial and project data from source systems as required.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly project and financial status reports for sponsors, finance partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Act as a point of contact to triage project-related inquiries, coordinate follow-ups, and track issues through to resolution.
