Senior Associate, Data Scientist – Applied AI

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at Capital One, you’ll be part of a team that’s leading the next wave of disruption in data-driven decision-making. The Commercial Bank Applied AI team specializes in building enterprise-grade architectures using advanced techniques such as Multi-Agent Systems and Advanced RAG.

What You Will Do

You will partner with a cross-functional team to deliver Generative AI solutions, leverage a broad stack of technologies to build Multi-Agent systems and advanced RAG pipelines, and build Generative AI models and pipelines through all phases of development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field) plus 2 years of experience performing data analytics
• Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
• At least 2 years of experience in Python, Scala, or R
• At least 2 years of experience with machine learning
• At least 2 years of experience with SQL
• At least 1 year of experience in AI, Information Retrieval, Deep Learning, or NLP
