Data Engineer Manager

Role Overview

CI&T is expanding the FLOW team and seeking a Master Data Engineer to act as a technical reference in the construction and evolution of modern data solutions. The FLOW is the CI&T Artificial Intelligence Platform, created to accelerate software development and deliver value to customers.

What You Will Do

Lead technically the design, implementation, and evolution of data architectures and platforms. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and high-performance data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Data Engineering, experience as a technical reference, and advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, and Spark.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Data Engineering, with experience in complex and large-scale environments
• Experience as a technical reference, supporting architectural decisions and team evolution
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, and Spark
• Experience with data-driven solutions for Machine Learning, AI generation, or agent-based systems
• Experience with modern data stacks in cloud environments
• Experience in building data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Knowledge of data architecture, distributed processing, and integration between different sources
• Experience with CI/CD practices applied to data solutions
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling
• Ability to evaluate solutions considering scalability, security, performance, costs, and operational sustainability
• Experience with AI applied to software development and data engineering cycles
• Education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related areas
