Role Overview

The Senior Retail Sales Planning & Forecasting Consultant is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales planning and forecasting strategies for a specific product line. This role focuses on optimizing sales performance through data-driven insights, accurate sales forecasts, and effective monitoring of key performance indicators.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain comprehensive sales plans across all product lines, collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment with the overall organizational strategic plan, provide accurate sales forecasts to support business planning and decision-making, and analyze sales performance and trends to predict future sales outcomes.

The successful candidate will have 6 to 9 years of experience in Insurance or Financial Services industry, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Sales, and a proven ability to maintain independent perspective on sales-related decisions.

Requirements

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in Insurance or Financial Services industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Sales
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) is an asset
  • Proven ability to maintain independent perspective on sales-related decisions
  • Ability to develop and implement sales planning and forecasting strategies aligned with business goals
  • Proficiency in utilizing data and analytics for decision-making
  • Ability to innovate and improve sales planning and forecasting processes
  • Expert knowledge of sales planning, forecasting, and analysis techniques
  • Thorough understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Aligning sales initiatives with the organization’s overall strategic goals
  • Driving revenue growth through the development of strategic sales plans
  • Monitoring KPIs and generating detailed, actionable performance reports
  • Conducting market and competitive analysis to adjust sales strategies effectively
