Financial Analyst, Commissions

Role Overview

CoStar Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Sales Finance team in Richmond, Virginia. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely calculation and payment of sales commissions for CoStar’s over 1,300 salespeople, as well as other Financial Planning and Analysis responsibilities.

What You Will Do

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales commission on a month-to-month and year-to-year basis, working with the Financial Planning and Analysis team and Sales Leadership on monthly reporting and forecasting, and designing and creating yearly commission plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
• A track record of commitment to prior employers
• 2+ years of related work experience in corporate finance, accounting, or sales finance/operations
• Strong Excel Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive level professionals within and outside of the Finance Department
• Ability to identify and help improve current processes to make workflow more efficient
• Strong attention to detail
