Role Overview

The Data Analyst (Ads & Sponsorships) will manage monthly reporting deliverables for in-game advertising inventory, develop scalable data models, and construct essential dashboards for the Ads & Sponsorships team. The role requires collaboration with AdOps, AdTech, Product Management, and game analytics groups to ensure reporting data remains precise and documented.

What You Will Do

The Data Analyst will align with the AdOps team on reporting, create and publish reports, and maintain documentation of reporting queries and KPI calculations. The role also involves building and maintaining dashboards, applying working knowledge of data engineering concepts, and partnering with studio analytics teams.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, and a Bachelor, MBA, or Master’s degree in Statistics or a related field. The candidate should be competent with at least one analytics software package and comfortable working in Excel. Familiarity with cloud data warehouses and digital advertising metrics is also a plus.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Bachelor, MBA, or Master’s degree in Statistics or related field
  • Database knowledge including table structures, views, queries, and SQL statements
  • Competent with at least one analytics software package (Python, R, SAS, or SPSS)
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in a BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)
  • Familiar with core data engineering concepts (pipelines, schemas, ETL, and telemetry)
  • Clear documentation habits, and prioritization recommendations, give effort estimates, and flag scheduling conflicts early
