Role Overview

Empire Today is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their growing Sitton team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new corporate revenue and managing existing corporate and portfolio relationships.

What You Will Do

The Business Development Manager will proactively identify and pursue new corporate opportunities, develop and execute account-specific business development plans, and prepare and deliver quotes and pricing proposals.

The ideal candidate will have five or more years of progressive business-to-business sales experience, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and account growth goals, and strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Five or more years of progressive business-to-business sales experience
  • Strong contract development, negotiation, and management skills
  • Working knowledge of the California multifamily property management market
  • Existing relationships or network within California multifamily ownership and property management companies
  • Proven consultative or solution-based selling skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
