Director, Finance Operations

Role Overview

The Director of Finance Operations will oversee several key services within the Entergy Shared Services organization, setting the strategic direction and providing governance compliance oversight, continuous improvement leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You Will Do

Provide day-to-day oversight and support of four critical business processes: Accounts Payable, Finance Operations Programs, Payroll, and Cash Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, business or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience, including 6+ years in a management position
• Understanding of Shared Services
• Understanding of Accounting governance, controls, and financial statement compilation required
• Understanding of procurement and Human Resources
• Ability to set performance metrics and manage teams to hit set targets
• Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and creative problem-solving skills
• Change leadership and workforce capability building
• Business case development and value realization
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) desirable
