Role Overview
Figma is growing its data team, and we’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join us. As a Data Scientist, you’ll be deeply embedded within cross-functional teams across the company, working on high-impact data projects and shaping the future of our products and business.
What You Will Do
You’ll collaborate across teams to define and measure key metrics, design experiments, and uncover insights that inform strategic decisions. You’ll build models and analytical frameworks to support product, marketing, platform, or finance initiatives, and develop tools, datasets, and systems that enable others to work with data more efficiently and rigorously.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
- Fluency in SQL and proficiency in a scripting language like Python or R, along with experience working with distributed data systems (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Presto, Hive, Spark)
- Strong foundation in statistical methods, experimentation, and/or forecasting
- A track record of working cross-functionally and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical partners
- Experience supporting one or more of the following: Product, Marketing, Finance, or internal Platform/Tooling teams
