Principal Account Manager, Large Customer Sales

Role Overview

As a Principal Account Manager, you will be a strategic partner and industry thought leader to the world’s leading brands and agencies. You will engage and influence key customer stakeholders, drive exceptional campaign results, and demonstrate the value to customers.

What You Will Do

You will lead strategic meetings to uncover marketing goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), translate them into campaign strategies, and build and pitch data-driven solutions to maximize customer value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients
  • 4 years of experience managing digital marketing/advertising campaigns
  • 3 years of project management experience
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role without direct reports or 1 year of experience in a people management or team leader role
  • Experience with the digital landscape across search, display and video and implementing brand campaigns with advertisers
  • Knowledge of Google’s performance products (Search, Shopping pMax, AI Max, Demand Gen, Bids/Budget excellence)
