Role Overview

This is a growth role first. Advanced Shipping Manager is a profitable, established, deeply embedded product with a loyal base and a founder who built it into the category over many years. We’re looking for someone to step into the founder’s product shoes and bring ASM into a new chapter of growth.

What You Will Do

You’ll own the commercial side of the brand end-to-end – pricing and packaging, expansion into the existing base, competitive win-back, and the conversations that turn high-volume merchants into customers – and you’ll own the product roadmap that supports it.

Requirements

• A track record of personally generating revenue in small B2B SaaS
• Experience in growth, product, or founder/operator roles in B2B SaaS or e-commerce, ideally in early-stage or small-team environments
• Customer-facing by instinct and by preference
• Technically fluent: you can scope features with a developer, read API docs, and reason about integration trade-offs and shipping-rate calculation logic
• Commercially literate: comfortable owning pricing experiments, conversion metrics and revenue outcomes, and making the call on what something should cost
• Self-directed and structure-building: you’ve operated where the process didn’t exist until you wrote it, and where there was no funnel to optimize until you built one
• E-commerce platform experience — Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento or similar
• Nice to have: shipping, logistics or carrier-integration experience; experience directing remote or contractor teams
• AI Literacy & Application: You actively use AI tools to enhance personal productivity and work quality, staying curious about emerging capabilities and identifying opportunities to apply AI pragmatically in day-to-day work
