Data Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DataOps Engineer to join our Data and Insights team in a 24 months Fixed Term Contract. This role will play a pivotal role in for the ongoing administration and improvement of the data platform, ensuring its stability, scalability, and security, building data pipelines for Analytics and Reporting use cases while working collaboratively with Data Modeller, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, SMEs and Solution architects.

Requirements

• Configure CI/CD tool for Azure DataOps
• Implement operational workflow and orchestration solutions
• Implement business continuity solutions
• Work closely with development teams across the data and insights team
• Embrace Lean principles and work as a part of an Agile team
• Manage the Azure data platform operations
• Drive adoption of our services and tooling
• Seek opportunities to automate our own services and processes
• Contribute to IaC and CI/CD
• Own design, build, deployment and support of data pipelines
• Actively manage risks and escalate issues where appropriate
• Proactively identify risks and recommend actions to avoid, mitigate or accept risks
