Data Analyst

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Systems & Reporting team. The successful candidate will develop and manage data dashboards, maintain data quality, and guide the adoption of new data tools and standards. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Develop, maintain, and manage data dashboards to provide real-time insights for stakeholders.
• Use data storytelling techniques to help stakeholders understand trends, patterns, and key messages.
• Apply data visualization and graphic design principles to create clear, engaging dashboards and reports.
• Support the collection, analysis, and synthesis of data to generate actionable insights.
• Develop Power BI templates and standards to ensure consistency and quality across Sequence Alliance.
• Guide and assist Sequence Alliance in the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and advanced data platforms.
• Contribute to improving data and information management practices.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of data applications and custom workflows.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in data systems.
• Actively support the use and integration of AI tools for data analysis and data systems.
• Assist in the development of data and information policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support the data collection and analytics aspects of the KRA-KPI program and future operational KPI programs.
• Provide training and guidance on data collection and best practices to project teams and individuals.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives that require data analysis support.
