Role Overview

As an Account Executive focused on small accounts, you will play a pivotal role in helping schools and educators access innovative solutions that enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Working within a designated territory, you will identify new business opportunities, cultivate lasting customer relationships, and guide education leaders through consultative purchasing decisions.

Develop and expand business opportunities within an assigned territory, build trusted relationships with school administrators, educators, and decision-makers, and manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and solution offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience in educational technology (EdTech) sales
  • Prior K–12 teaching experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated success using consultative sales methodologies and structured sales processes
  • Experience managing complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Strong ability to conduct virtual presentations, online consultations, and solution demonstrations
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer engagement skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with experience managing pipelines, forecasts, and territory plans
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage sales data and market insights to drive results
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and digital sales tools
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% annually within the assigned territory
