Senior Data Engineer

Role Overview

This role is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced data professional to help design and build scalable, cloud-based big data solutions that power analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives. You will work at the center of data innovation, contributing to the architecture and optimization of modern Lakehouse platforms supporting large-scale, real-time and batch data processing.

What You Will Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines handling large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics consumption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in senior data engineering roles building scalable big data solutions
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and Lakehouse architectures
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL systems (MongoDB)
• Strong experience with streaming and distributed processing technologies including Kafka, Spark, PySpark, and Spark Streaming
• Hands-on experience with Databricks in production environments
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and familiarity with SDLC practices
• Experience with GitHub and version control best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to design complex data pipelines
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights
