Role Overview
This role sits at the intersection of large-scale data engineering, advertising technology, and machine learning infrastructure within a high-traffic consumer platform. You will define and drive the technical strategy behind ads data systems that power targeting, ranking, measurement, and experimentation at massive scale.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and evolve large-scale data systems that support advertising products, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance. Build and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines, ETL workflows, and foundational datasets supporting ads delivery, targeting, and measurement.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong focus on advertising technology, ad delivery, targeting, or measurement systems
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and maintaining complex data pipelines handling high-volume structured and unstructured data
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in modern data engineering frameworks and tooling
- Strong background in building data systems for ad tech, including conversion tracking, ad ranking, or third-party data integrations
- Proven experience implementing data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, and automated remediation at scale
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as Airflow, dbt, Dagster, BigQuery, or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset with a strong focus on execution, problem-solving, and engineering excellence
