Role Overview
The Assistant Manager of Business Development and Investor Relations will support and help lead client-facing initiatives across SALI’s Business Development and Investor Relations functions. This role will report directly to SALI’s Head of Investor Relations and work closely with asset managers, insurance companies, insurance brokers, and internal teams.
What You Will Do
The Assistant Manager will collaborate with the Business Development team, lead calls with external stakeholders, support new client onboarding, and draft client-facing communications. They will also calculate incentive fee waterfalls, maintain CRM/database records, and assist in planning and executing investor meetings.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of professional experience in business development, investor relations, client service, fund administration, asset management, insurance, or a related financial services role
- Prior management, supervisory, or team lead experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong reading comprehension and ability to review fund offering memoranda, legal documents, and other technical materials
- Comfort with financial concepts and calculations
- Organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented, with strong multitasking and project management skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Strong PC-related skills, including Microsoft SharePoint and Salesforce
