Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will create and build markets for Professional Audio Technology, identifying untapped industries, creating demand from the ground up, and introducing world-class audio solutions. This role requires a relentless competitor who can challenge conventional thinking and redefine how business gets done.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications
- 1-3 years of equivalent experience in professional sales with proven sales results
- Effective communication skills including the ability to negotiate, active listening, and rapport-building
- Ability to learn complex technical solutions and communicate business value
- Familiarity with CRM systems, social media, and sales tools
- Goal-oriented mindset, innovative and challenging conventional approaches
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment, and willingness to adapt
- Believe motivation and technical skills are essential

- Innate desire and strong interest in prospecting and building a book of business

- Ability to work onsite in Burnsville, MN; while this role is absolutely being with prospects and future partners, there will be times when presence in our office will be required
- Requires visual acuity to view a computer monitor and read documents, as well as the ability to communicate clearly in person and through digital platforms
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a typical office environment with standard noise levels and ergonomic equipment
