Cloud Finops Senior Analyst

Role Overview

The FinOps Sr. Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations and analysis, ensuring accurate financial data and assisting with financial reporting.

What You Will Do

Support day-to-day financial operations, monitor and analyze cloud expenditures, implement cost-saving strategies, and develop dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1- 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a financial analysis or operations role
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Proven experience with main the CSP (Cloud Service Providers), especially in Azure and GCP cost management tools and services
• Proficiency in cloud cost management tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer, etc.)
• Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) as a plus
• Knowledge and experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting as nice to have
