Senior Director Business Development

Role Overview

The Senior Director of Business Development at Mars Snacking is a key leader in defining and executing Mars Snacking’s long-term inorganic strategy. This person will leverage their deep understanding of strategy development to identify potential acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and divestiture opportunities to drive growth and optimization of the Mars Snacking portfolio.

What You Will Do

This role will independently lead the execution of strategic projects, including leading Mars teams assigned to such projects, and will support the SVP of Business Development by leading the ideation, development, and execution of strategic inorganic projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelors degree
• MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in external or in-house consulting, investment banking or other relevant finance or strategy role
• Strategic mindset with significant experience developing and executing strategic frameworks
• Strong project management skills
• Strong analytical and modeling skills
• Excellent financial acumen
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the M&A environment and ideally of the categories in which Mars operates (CPG and services);
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written, up down and across the organization)
• Able to travel (minimum 20%)
