Role Overview

Join Mayflower Cruises & Tours as a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth in the Wisconsin region. You will be responsible for achieving sales goals, developing strategic sales plans, and nurturing new business partnerships.

What You Will Do

Increase sales in an assigned territory, manage accounts using CRM, travel to meet clients and new leads, learn company sales practices, and execute presentations to make sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry
  • Excellent industry and group market knowledge
  • Experience working for a travel company is a plus
  • Existing network and account relationships within the travel community
  • Tour, River Cruise, or Ocean Cruise experience desired
  • Neat, professional appearance and demeanor
  • Able to travel 50% or more of the time
  • Adept with the use of MS Office package
  • Familiarity and comfort with Salesforce.com or similar CRM applications preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a home office-based environment
  • Self-starter approach to work
  • Strong presentation, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work autonomously
