Role Overview
Mekari is Indonesia’s no. 1 Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company. We aim to facilitate entrepreneurs and leaders as they accelerate the digital transformation of their businesses. We need a Business Development representative to help drive the growth of our sales efforts in the rapidly changing local delivery industry.
What You Will Do
Research companies to contact, start relationships with potential managers or CEOs, craft emails to convey the value of our HRIS, make cold and warm phone calls to follow up or preempt email communications, manage the entire sales cycle, and collaborate with engineering and customer success teams.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We’re seeking an exceptional individual with strong selling and influencing skills, analytical and detail-oriented, and a results-focused attitude. Prior experience selling or marketing is a plus, but not required.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable and confident speaking to mid-level and senior executives
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills

- Scrappy and competitive
- Desire to drive results and improve every single day
- Prior experience selling or marketing is a plus but is not required
- 1-2 years of experience cold calling and selling SaaS or IT products (SMEs / SMBs)
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Positive, can-do attitude, extraordinary hustle, disdain for failure, and hunger/appreciation for feedback
- Deep self-motivation and the ability to self-manage
