FinOps Supervisor

Role Overview

The FinOps Supervisor will act as the single finance point of contact for Supply Chain and Engineering, translating operational plans into financial impact. The role involves tracking costs, reviewing procurement spend, and providing financial recommendations. The FinOps Supervisor will also link to Accounting and FP&A, feed accurate operational cost data into Accounting, and reconcile operational data with the general ledger.

What You Will Do

The FinOps Supervisor will track fit-out and finishing costs, review procurement spend, support make-vs-buy and supplier selection, and monitor committed vs. actual spend. The role also involves providing FP&A with actuals, drivers, and forecasts for budgeting and reconciling operational data with the general ledger.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The FinOps Supervisor will own the monthly management reporting pack, build and maintain KPI dashboards, and write clear variance commentary. The role requires strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in Finance Operations or Accounting, with supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
