HubSpot Consultant (Revenue Operations & CRM) at Neighbourhood Co
Role Seniority: Mid level
Location: Teneriffe, Brisbane, QLD, Australia
Work Arrangement: In-office, with flexibility once you’re ramped
Requirements: Australian work rights required at time of application
Why This Role Exists
This is a permanent role opening because one of the team is heading off on parental leave and the work hasn’t slowed down for a second. You’ll run HubSpot projects for clients from start to finish, with most work focused on revenue operations.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for:
- Discovery: Sit down with clients and work out how their business actually runs and where deals are getting stuck
- Design: Decide what the system should be – lifecycle stages, pipelines, handovers between marketing and sales, post-signature processes
- Scope: Turn designs into phased plans and keep them phased when clients want to add things
- Build: Work in HubSpot doing the implementation – workflows, properties, custom objects, integrations, reporting
- Reporting: Create marketing, sales and service reporting that leadership teams will actually open
- Testing and Handover: Run UAT with clients, write documentation and record videos so they can run the system independently
- Ongoing Support: Many clients stay for years, and relationship management is key
- Budget Management: Own how client partnership budgets get spent month to month
About AI at Neighbourhood Co
AI isn’t a side project – it’s integrated into everything. The agency builds with Claude and uses AI daily across all work. The client-facing AI side is growing fast. You need skills strong enough to carry today’s work, and genuine curiosity to lead the AI side when it matures.
About Neighbourhood Co
NBH is Australia’s #1 Diamond HubSpot partner and the 2nd most awarded partner globally. The team consists of certified HubSpot trainers with 11+ years building on HubSpot. They work with companies across Australia, the US, Europe and Asia rebuilding how they sell, market and serve. The company is intentionally small (11 people) – the person a client talks to on day one is the person building their system.
Who You Are
- You think in systems – when someone describes a problem, you’re already three steps upstream working out what caused it
- You’ve owned a full client project end to end and loved it
- You can hold your own with a founder and a CFO in the same morning without changing who you are
- You can say no warmly and have used that muscle enough to know it builds relationships
- You write well – scope notes, training docs, handovers that get read
- You’d rather flag something half-finished on Tuesday than claim it’s done on Friday
- You’re curious about AI in a hands-on way – you’ve actually tried things, not just read about them
Experience Required
- 3+ years in CRM, Revenue Operations or Martech delivery (HubSpot strongly preferred)
- Demonstrable ownership of revenue process design, not just execution inside someone else’s design
- Agency or consulting background is a plus, but a strong in-house Revenue Operations operator ready to work across many businesses is equally interesting
What’s Actually True About Working Here
- Yearly company retreats: Hamilton Island, Bali (x2), Noosa, Gold Coast
- Wellness and gym allowance
- Flexible Fridays – full day or half day, your choice
- Office dogs welcome, including yours
- Flat management structure, no BS
- Free coffee, snacks, and a rarely empty fridge
- A crew of 11 decent humans
Application Process
Step 1: Apply with your CV and a few lines in the cover letter. Tell about one CRM or sales process you designed or rebuilt: what was broken, what you changed, and what happened after. Write it like you’d say it.
Step 2: If shortlisted, you’ll provide a three-minute video showing how you communicate and think. This role has you on video calls most days. Share:
- What you like doing, work-wise
- What you’d love to never do again
- What you reckon your last boss would say about you
No resume recap, no role-play, one take. Be yourself. Alternative formats available upon request.
