Role Overview

The Engineering Manager for Data Platform Enablement at Nordstrom owns a broad portfolio of analytics and data platforms, keeping them running, evolving, and getting simpler. The team uses AI daily to write code, automate operations, and investigate incidents. The manager leads engineering delivery, technical standards, operational health, and the growth of engineers, while staying hands-on and writing code alongside them.

What You Will Do

The manager will lead engineering delivery across BigQuery/GCP, GCP Looker, Metabase, and AWS workloads, own platform reliability, incident response, and on-call for production systems, drive capacity planning, and support the deprecation of legacy platforms.
