Communications and Marketing Manager

Role Overview

We’re looking for two seasoned communications and marketing professionals to join our ambitious and growing team. As one of our Communications and Marketing Managers, you’ll play a key role in shaping both our service and the future of the team.

What You Will Do

You’ll provide strategic communications and marketing advice to senior leaders and elected members, acting as a trusted partner and helping to translate organisational priorities into impactful communications and marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Significant experience in communications, marketing or public affairs, including developing and delivering strategic communications plans.
• A proven track record of leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams, including performance management.
• Experience providing strategic advice and support to senior leaders and stakeholders in a complex organisation.
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with the confidence to work closely with elected members, senior leaders and external partners.
• Strong judgement, political awareness and the ability to navigate sensitive and high-profile issues.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to shape new ways of working and contribute to the ongoing development of a growing service.
• Creativity, resilience and a focus on delivering excellent outcomes for customers and communities.
