Director, Business Development

Role Overview

Peraton is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead the growth of US Space Force accounts in the National Capital Region. The role will involve leading a team, developing business strategies, and building relationships with customers and partners.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will create a customer-focused strategic account plan, develop and execute a new business pipeline, achieve revenue and sales goals, and build relationships with Air Force and Space Force customers.

Requirements

  • 16+ years of operations or business development experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in space operations or business development with extensive experience working within or alongside the U.S. Air Force space enterprise or U.S. Space Force
  • Experience leading large $100M+ business pursuits through a business acquisition process
  • Domain experience in space / satellite operations, BMC2, and secure communications
  • Superior leadership, business acumen, and executive presence
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Benefits

  • Target Salary Range: $176,000 – $282,000
  • Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus
