Role Overview

Rancho BioSciences is seeking an early/mid-career business development professional to drive business growth in the Boston/New England area. This role will drive Rancho’s business growth in biotech and small/mid-sized pharma and life science organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience selling data science, bioinformatics, informatics, and consulting products and services into these customer segments.

What You Will Do

Sell the entire Rancho portfolio of data, analytics, and informatics services and products to biotech, small/mid-sized pharma, and life science companies. Identify new potential business prospects and build a pipeline of opportunities through various activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Sales experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Experience selling data and informatics services and products to Pharma and Biotech companies
  • A solid understanding of drug discovery and development, and a strong scientific background
  • A strong network including leaders and decision makers in the Boston/New England area
  • Familiarity with scientific data ecosystems, AI/analytics, or digital R&D platforms
  • Experience working in a global organization spanning multiple time zones and cultures
